True Haunting of Borley Rectory

True Haunting of Borley Rectory

$0.99
The Warrens returned the next night and, after convincing the caretaker to let them in, they entered the church. Immediately, they felt that the place was loaded with spirits. While the rectory was built in the 19th century, the church itself was much older, having been built in the 12th century. In fact, the rectory was built in such a way that the Reverend Bull could watch the ghost known as the Borley Nun walk up the path. Other hauntings included the tower bell ringing by itself, a black coach being pulled by horses, stones falling on the slate floor, and a black dog, known as dogs of hell. More info →

True Haunting of Jack and Janet Smurl

True Haunting of Jack and Janet Smurl

$0.99
The worst event was the succubus attack on Jack Smurl. This was a physical and sexual attack on Jack that was designed to insult the birth cycle of Jesus. During this happening, a beautiful woman descended the stairs and came closer to Smurl. When it had fully approached, the woman changed into a skeletal slime-covered hag and attacked him. When called in to help, Ed Warren performed a kind of religious provocation, hoping to make the demon(s) expose itself. Using holy water and religious music, Ed Warren commanded the demon to manifest. During this time, the TV (which was not plugged in) turned on, objects moved around the room, and doors open and shut. Love Beyond the Grave

Love Beyond the Grave

$0.99
Married couples or lovers routinely come back to watch over their living loved ones. Quite often, this is because an individual yearns so much for their dead spouse that it holds them here. Yet not all dead relatives come back. Ed Warren explains that there are quite a few reasons for this. First, it could be because in a past lifetime, they were unsympathetic to friends and family who had died and this is them having to pay the price for that. Second, the deceased individual might not feel it is necessary to come back because, eventually, the couple will be reunited. More info →

True Hauntings of Mysterious Places

True Hauntings of Mysterious Places

$0.99
Ed and Lorraine Warren have returned to discuss the presence of mysterious places across the globe. First, they address vampires. Differing from the Hollywood conception of “vampires,” Ed Warren explains that “human vampires” are human beings who truly believes himself to be a vampire and acts accordingly. As proof of vampires, the Warrens point to the 1953 Calvani case. Here, the Calvani family was digging a grave for a deceased relative when they came across another coffin four feet in the ground. Opening the coffin, they found a middle-aged man whose body was in perfect condition and had not aged at all. The family reburied this man in order to file exhumation paperwork and, in the meantime, had the burial ground consecrated. When the coffin was exhumed, the body inside was no longer fresh but, instead, was nothing more than a deteriorated skeleton. The Warrens explain this mystery by stating that the man was, indeed, a vampire. As a sorcerer, this man had put himself into a catatonic state and would, through astral projection, leave the body in search for blood. However, diverging from the Hollywood concept of biting into victims’ necks, this man would take blood through a process of teleportation. The blood was transferred back to the physical body through the silver cord that connects the astral body to the physical body, keeping it alive. According to the Warrens, this is a true vampire today. More info →

Pets Who Survive the Grave and Physical Death

Pets Who Survive the Grave and Physical Death

$0.99
The Warrens saw the physical ghost of their dog, Major, visit them only days after his death in order to say good-bye. Tony Spera had a similar experience with a dog he rescued from the side of the road. He saved the dog and cared for him for exactly one year before he had to be put down. Not too long after that, Tony was given a dog that looked exactly like the one he had just lost. He was convinced that this new dog was a reincarnation of his old friend. Many people have also written to the Warrens explaining how they can still feel the presence of their pets long after they have gone. There was even a woman who was saved from a mugging by the ghost of her dog! A truly amazing and inspiring story. More info →

Psychic Photographs

Psychic Photographs

$0.99
Psychic pictures are some of the most interesting phenomena because the camera acts as an impartial witness. That is, it takes a picture of what it sees. Therefore, it is possible to take pictures of ghosts. In this case, Ed Warren differentiates between electromagnetic energy, which is character-less, and an apparition, which would have characteristics of an individual. Ghosts can project their image onto film simply by thinking of what it looks like. Ed was able to capture images of the ghost at Union Graveyard this way and, the Warrens continue, the great thing about this is that anyone can take a picture of a ghost this way – you do not have to have any special talents. A person might not be able to see anything with his or her physical eye, but if he or she takes a picture, the camera would catch the ghost. More info →

Spirits of the Woods with John Zaffis

Spirits of the Woods with John Zaffis

$0.99
First the Warrens take us to Scotland and what can be called the mystical isles. They relate the story of the Fairy Bridge near Dunvegan Castle. The Fairy Bridge has a classic story in Scottish folklore of a Lord of the McCloud family married a fairy, one of the wee people. Eventually the two had to part and did so on Fairy Bridge. Upon parting, the fairy gave Lord McCloud a flag, telling him that thrice it may flown in the castle in times of need, and thrice the fairies would save the castle. Ed notes it has been saved twice thus far. Lorraine recounts how she was able to discern the encounter of the lord and the fairy from a distance. She saw something being passed between the two but could not make it out while she also sensed, for some reason, the presence of flax. Later while giving a presentation to a group at Norwich University, a member of the audience clarified that the flag given by the fairy had been made of flax. More info →

Miracles

Miracles

$0.99
This segment deals with miracles: can the supernatural perform miracles? Can God? Both the Warrens answer this with a resounding yes. For example, Ed Warren tells of Brother Andre, who was known as the keeper of the door at Mount Royal in Montreal, Canada. He was instrumental in building the Basilica at St. Joseph’s, where many people have been healed. Ed and Lorraine went there in 1953 when Ed’s mother was dying from cancer and prayed for healing. Upon their return, his mother had regained much of her strength and the doctors could not find a trace of cancer. She lived for another twenty-two years. More info →
